You've captured the feeling of the topic very well Mike. This reminds me of something out of the Beatles Yellow Submarine movie--cool!
This is excellent. The color combination has a very intense effect on the whole piece. Rejection is felt but I feel that acceptance is not far off...just around the corner, in fact.
I love the colors of this one. I'm also drawn to the semi-abstracted quality of the setting.
